Painting Basics of Traditional Oil Painting and Contemporary Acrylics
Designed for the beginning painter, this class will introduce the student to classic painting techniques used in traditional oil painting and in the contemporary acrylic medium. Demonstration of basic techniques and tools applicable in both mediums will help take the mystery out of the painting process while encouraging and inspiring the inner artist. Fundamental design elements of line, shape, form and value will also will also help the student develop a sense of good composition.
